The Three Siblings

Uncle Dennis came up for Thanksgiving day and took pics. I thought this was a nice pic of them.

From an Email...

I received a cute email from Elaine. I wanted to share two of the photos.

I couldn't help but put this here. It reminded me of my mother. HAHAHA

This is a poem that was written for our family and read at the concert.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS

Whether many or few, your members are
Whether snow or sunshine see
As long as your family's together
There shall your Christmas be!

Whether solemn or glee, shows on your face
Whether all are there or not
Whether blood is the tie that binds you together
Your family is what you've got

They may be wholesome and they may be plenty
Or they may be strange and few
But sitting with them around the table
Makes every Christmas seem new

Whether they stay a week, or stay a moment
Or any time in between
Their love is a gift you'll remember
More than any present they bring

So as the snow begins to fall and as you see Christmas is on its way
Gather yourselves together, hold your hands and pray
That you would make the most of it, that each day would be
A gift of warmth and love, from now 'til New Years Eve.

And as you gather, remember my Christmas wish for you all
That you would enjoy this Holiday Season and her the Christmas call.
That in your hearts, you would find the wholeness of your family
As some are sweet (Paula) and some are nuts (Ernie), but together they're like candy.

Saturday-This brings back memories of childhood....

Beer pancakes for breakfast.

Grandpa at the griddle.
Gabby waiting patiently for food.
Grace is sure in a good mood. Must be the heavenly smells coming from the kitchen.

Thanksgiving 2007-Friday Night

Elaine brought a new game: If you were a Redneck...

Boy did we hear a lot of laughing. It must be a good one.
Laughter is good medicine.
Texas Hold Em at the next table.
Greg must have a good hand.
My favorite picture of the weekend.
